Gabrielle será Tilda Johnson, que segundo a descrição oficial da personagem é “uma brilhante doutora holística com uma história complicada no Harlem, onde, por mais que ela tente ficar longe de problemas, acaba sempre os encontrando“.
Já Shakir viverá John McIver, “um líder nato, cheio de carisma, cuja missão está focada no Harlem e em vingança“.

A nova temporada de “Luke Cage” ainda não possui data de estreia e nem sinopse. Porém o herói voltará ainda esse ano em “Os Defensores”, que estreia dia 18 de agosto na Netflix.
